Brief of PA-1
1. General Information: Partnership Agreement-1, Chittagong City Corporation is a partner of Second Urban Primary Health Care Project. Its inception date 25 April 2007. Its service area(s) CCC PA-1 in Ward Nos. 01, 02, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 17, 21, 25, 26, 30, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 of the Chittagong City Corporation. Population of the catchments area(s) is 16,35523. Total Poor Household 43145 There are 37803 Red Card Holders. PA-1 provides the health care services through 25 PHCCs, 1 CRHCC, 1 PECC & 1 VCT Centers. All of these are located in the UPHCPs constructed building. Total Manpower of PA-1 is 377. It is mandatory on the part of the partner CCC PA-1 to provide services and drugs free of cost. Through Data analysis and compilation of Baseline Survey 30% poor will be registered and will be issued with red color special cards to access to all health facilities of CCC PA-1. The Red Card will be issued to head of the poor family and all members of that family will have the entitlement to free services/ treatment and medicine from all the health facilities. The Partner CCC PA-1 will, in addition, be responsible for ensuring that national program activities that are planned by the UPHCP or Ministry of Health and Family Welfare are conducted in the Partnership Area. These may include National Immunization Days, national campaigns to address specific health issues, or be specific to certain City Corporations or areas, enacted as a result of emergency situations.
Technical Proposal with Implementation Plan. It is understood that the implementation plan may undergo revision and changes throughout the course of implementation of the Project, as deemed necessary to achieve the Scope of Work. Major variations in the plan, however, will be discussed with the PMU and respective PIUs of UPHCP II and reported in the quarterly report, so that monitoring of the progress of the project implementation can be adjusted as necessary.
