| PSKP IN BRIF: Progoti Samaj Kallayan Protisthan and Poribar Porikolpona Sangstha in short PSKP& PPS is non a governmental and non profitable organization was formed in February 1980. It is registered with the social Service Department (Reg no: DSS/Dec-0841 Date: 02/05/1980) The Directorate of Family Planning (Reg no: Dac-23 Date: 30/09/1981) and the NGO affairs Bureau (Reg no: FDR-307 Date: 12/07/1989 ) PSKP awarded to implement the 2nd Urban Primary Health care Project in Dhaka City Corporation & Khulna City Corporation and Savar Municipality areas. The Local Government Division (LGD) of the Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives is the executing agency of this project and the funding agencies are SDB, DFID, Sida, UNFPA & ORBIS International. Aims : PSKP aims to ensure sustainable livehoods of the down trodden community through providing quality health services that contributes to generate income and scale up their status. Objectives : PSKPs' objective are to : * Provide quality health care services in urban and rural areas. * Undertake programs/projects for socio-economic development of the poor * Raise conciseness about human rights especially women and child rights etc. * Initiate programs/projects on climate change. * Capacity development for institutional strengthening.
